Acting Upon Concessions (Rukhsah)
Hadith 28167
٢٨١٦٧ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن منصور عن مالك بن الحارث عن عمرو ابن شرحبيل أن عبد اللَّه قال: إن اللَّه يحب أن تقبل رخصه كما يحب أن تؤتى عزائمه (١).
Hazrat Amr bin Shurahbil narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Surely Allah, the Lord of Might and Majesty, likes the acceptance of concessions just as He likes the observance of strict commands.
Hadith 28168
٢٨١٦٨ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن الحكم عن إبراهيم عن علقمة عن عبد اللَّه قال: إن اللَّه يحب أن تؤتى رخصه كما يحب أن تؤتى عزائمه (١).
Hazrat Alqamah narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Surely Allah, the Lord of Might and Majesty, loves it when His concessions are acted upon, just as He loves it when His strict commands are acted upon.
Hadith 28169
٢٨١٦٩ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن (أبيه) (١) عن تميم بن سلمة عن ابن عمر ⦗٤٦٤⦘ قال: إن اللَّه يحب أن تؤتى مياسره كما يحب أن تؤتى عزائمه (٢).
Hazrat Tamim bin Salamah narrates that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Surely Allah, the Lord of Might, loves the practice of concessions just as He loves the practice of strict rulings.
Hadith 28170
٢٨١٧٠ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أبيه قال: ذكرته لعبد الرحمن (الرحال) (١) قال: قال ابن عباس: إن اللَّه يحب أن تؤتى مياسره كما يحب أن تؤتى عزائمه (٢).
Hazrat Sufyan's father narrates that I mentioned before Hazrat Abdur Rahman Rahal that Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Surely Allah, the Lord of Might, loves acting upon concessions just as He loves acting upon firm rulings.
Hadith 28171
٢٨١٧١ - حدثنا وكيع عن موسى بن عبيدة عن محمد بن المنكدر قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "إن اللَّه يحب أن تقبل رخصه كما يحب أن توتى فريضته" (١).
Hazrat Muhammad bin Munkadir narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Surely Allah, the Lord of Might, loves the observance of concessions just as He loves the fulfillment of obligations.
Hadith 28172
٢٨١٧٢ - (حدثنا عبد اللَّه) (١) بن إدريس عن حصين عن الشعبي عن مسروق قال: إن اللَّه يحب أن تؤتى رخصه كما يحب أن تؤتى عزائمه.
Imam Sha'bi states that Hazrat Masruq said: Surely Allah, the Lord of Might, loves the observance of concessions just as He loves the observance of strict commands.
Hadith 28173
٢٨١٧٣ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن العوام عن إبراهيم التيمي قال: إن اللَّه يحب أن تؤتى مياسره كما يحب أن (يطاع في) (١) عزائمه.
Hazrat Awam narrates that Ibrahim Taimi said: Surely Allah, the Lord of Might, loves the practice of concessions just as He loves the following of strict rulings.
Hadith 28174
٢٨١٧٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو أسامة عن (نضر) (١) بن عربي عن عطاء قال: إذا تنازعك أمران فاحمل المسلمين على أيسرهما.
Hazrat Nazar bin Arabi narrates: Hazrat Ata said: When two matters dispute with you, then place the burden of the easier one upon the Muslims.
Hadith 28175
٢٨١٧٥ - حدثنا ابن نمير عن هشام عن أبيه عن عائشة قالت: ما خير رسول اللَّه ﷺ بين أمرين أحدهما أيسر من الآخر إلا (أخذ) (١) الذي هو أيسر (٢).
Hazrat Urwah bin Zubair narrates that Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was given a choice between two matters, and one of them was easier than the other, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would choose the easier of the two.
Hadith 28176
٢٨١٧٦ - حدثنا ابن إدريس عن ليث عن طاوس عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "يسروا ولا تعسروا" (١).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Create ease and do not create hardship.
Hadith 28177
٢٨١٧٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن سعيد بن أبي بردة عن أبيه عن جده أن النبي ﷺ لما (بعثه) (١) ومعاذًا إلى اليمن قال: " (يسرا ولا تعسوا) (٢) " (٣).
Hazrat Abu Burdah's father narrates that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent him and Hazrat Mu'adh towards the people of Yemen, he instructed: "Both of you create ease and do not create hardship."
