Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Sulaiman bin Musa says that indeed, everything has honor and dignity. The most honorable gatherings are those in which people sit facing the Qibla, and he said: I have not seen Hazrat Sufyan sitting except facing the Qibla.

Hazrat Ibn Aun states that Imam Muhammad, when sleeping, would lie facing the Qiblah, and sometimes he would also lie on his back.

Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Yazid narrates that Hazrat Ibn Masood sat facing the Qiblah.

Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdullah Shaithi narrates that Hazrat Makhool said: The best gathering among gatherings is the one in which people sit facing the Qibla.

Hazrat Thawr narrates that Hazrat Sulaiman bin Musa said: Every thing has a leader, and the leader of gatherings is the one in which people sit facing the Qiblah.
