Supplication for Jews and Christians
Hadith 27491
٢٧٤٩١ - حدثنا ابن مبارك عن معمر عن قتادة أن يهوديًا حلب للنبي ﷺ ناقة فقال: "اللهم جمله"، فاسودّ (شعره) (١) (٢).
Hazrat Qatadah narrates that a Jew milked a she-camel for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. Upon this, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, prayed for him: "O Allah! Make him beautiful," so his hair turned black.
Hadith 27492
٢٧٤٩٢ - [حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن إبراهيم قال: لا بأس أن يقول لليهودي: هداك اللَّه] (١).
Hazrat Mansur says that Ibrahim said: There is no harm in saying to a Jew: Hadaak Allah. May Allah guide you.
Hadith 27493
٢٧٤٩٣ - حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن إبراهيم قال: جاء يهودي إلى النبي ﵇ فقال: ادع اللَّه لي، فقال: " (كثر) (١) اللَّه مالك وولدك، وأصح جسمك وأطال عمرك" (٢).
Ibrahim narrates that a Jew came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: Please supplicate to Allah for me. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May Allah increase your wealth and your children, grant you health in your body, and lengthen your life.
Hadith 27494
٢٧٤٩٤ - حدثنا الفضل عن أبي سنان عن سعيد بن جبير قال: لو قال لي فرعون: بارك اللَّه فيك، لقلت: وفيك.
Hazrat Abu Sinan narrates that Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair said: If even Pharaoh says to me, "Barak Allahu Feek: May Allah bless you," I will also say, "And may He bless you too."
