Those who permitted entering houses with pictures inside
Hadith 26840
٢٦٨٤٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا معتمر عن أبيه قال: سمعت الحسن يقول أو لم يكن أصحاب محمد يدخلون الخانات فيها التصاوير (١).
Hazrat Mu'tamir narrates from his father that he heard Hasan saying: Did not the companions of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) enter such two ears in which there were pictures?
Hadith 26841
٢٦٨٤١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن الأعمش عن أبي الضحى قال: دخلت مع مسروق صفة فيها تماثيل فنظر إلى تماثيل منها فقال: ما هذا؟ قالوا: تمثال مريم.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu al-Duha. He says: I entered that platform along with Hazrat Masruq in which there were pictures. When his gaze fell upon a picture, he asked: Who is this? The people said: This is the picture of Hazrat Maryam.
Hadith 26842
٢٦٨٤٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير (١) عن مغيرة قال: كان في بيت إبراهيم تابوت فيه تماثيل.
It is narrated from Hazrat Mughira. He says that there was a chest in Ibrahim's house in which there were pictures.
Hadith 26843
٢٦٨٤٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة (عن حماد) (١) عن إبراهيم قال: لا بأس بالتمثال في حلية السيف، ولا بأس بها في سماء البيت، إنما يكره (منها) (٢) ما (ينصب) (٣) نصبًا -يعني الصورة-.
It is narrated from Ibrahim. He says that there is no harm in having a picture on the decoration of a sword. And there is no harm in having a picture on the roof of a house. Only those pictures are disliked which are placed upright.
