Hadith 20216
٢٠٢١٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا (عفان) (١) قال: نا أبو عوانة عن (أبي) (٢) بشر عن عطاء قال: إذا زوج الأب فالطلاق بيد الأب.
Hazrat Ata (may Allah have mercy on him) says that when the father arranges the marriage, then the right of divorce will also belong to him. Hazrat Mujahid says that whoever has authority over the marriage will also have authority over the divorce.
Hadith 20217
٢٠٢١٧ - وقال مجاهد: من ملك النكاح فإن في يده الطلاق.
20217 - Mujahid said: Whoever possesses marriage, then divorce is in his hand.
