Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both, may Allah have mercy on him) and Hazrat Jabir (may Allah have mercy on him) state that if a pregnant woman’s husband passes away, she will not receive maintenance; rather, her expenses will be covered from her share of inheritance.

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him), Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah have mercy on him), and Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) say that she will not receive maintenance and inheritance is sufficient for her.

Hazrat Ata says that if the husband of a pregnant woman passes away, then her expenses will be provided from her share of inheritance. (19314 M) It is narrated from Hazrat Ata through another chain in the same way.

Hazrat Qabeesah bin Dhu’ayb (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if I spend on a woman more than her share, then I will spend from the share of what is in her womb.

Hazrat Hasan (may Allah be pleased with him) says that if a pregnant woman's husband passes away, then her expenses will be provided from her share of inheritance.

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) states that if a pregnant woman’s husband passes away, she will not receive maintenance. Hazrat Ibn Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) had given the same verdict regarding us.

Hazrat Hakam (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if a pregnant woman's husband passes away, then her expenses will be provided from her share of inheritance. Hazrat Sufyan says that if a pregnant woman's husband passes away, then her expenses will be provided from her share of inheritance.

Hazrat Mak'hool (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if a pregnant woman's husband passes away, then her expenses will be provided from her share of inheritance.
