Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ata Khurasani, Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib, the jurists of Madinah, and Hazrat Sulaiman bin Yasar (s) state that the woman who has been given three divorces and the woman whose husband has passed away, both will remove the hair below the navel, but they will not use kohl, henna, perfume, or a comb.

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a woman who has been given three divorces and a woman whose husband has died, both have the same ruling regarding adornment.

Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that a woman who has been given three divorces will not apply kohl for adornment.

Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him) said that the woman who has been given three divorces and the woman whose husband has passed away, both will not apply kohl and will not use dye either.

Hazrat Hakam (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a woman who has been given three divorces will not apply kohl and will not adorn herself. Her ruling is stricter than that of a woman whose husband has passed away.

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the woman who has been given three divorces and the woman whose husband has passed away are both equal in the ruling of adornment.
