Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that a woman who obtains khula‘ will be entitled to accommodation and maintenance.

Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a woman who obtains khula' will be entitled to residence and maintenance because if she wishes, she can remarry her husband during the 'iddah.

Hazrat Hammad (may Allah have mercy on him) says that a woman who obtains khula will receive maintenance.

Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked whether a woman who obtains khula' is entitled to maintenance. He replied: How can he spend on her when the man has taken money from the woman?

Hasan (may Allah have mercy on him) used to say that there is no residence and maintenance for a woman who obtains khul‘ and for a woman who has been given three divorces.

Hazrat Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that there is no maintenance (nafaqah) for a woman who obtains khula‘ or for a woman who has been released from marriage.
