Hadith 18284
١٨٢٨٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا حفص عن داود عن سعيد بن المسيب في الملاعن يكذب نفسه قال: يضرب وهو (خاطب) (١).
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) says that if the man who performs li'an retracts his statement, then the hadd will be implemented upon him and he can send a marriage proposal to that woman.
Hadith 18285
١٨٢٨٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر (بن) (١) (عياش) (٢) عن مطرف عن الشعبي (قال) (٣): إن أكذب نفسه جاز، وألزق به (٤) الولد، وردت (إليه) (٥) امرأته.
Hazrat Sha'bi (may Allah have mercy on him) says that when the person performing li'an declares himself to be a liar, the prescribed punishment will be carried out upon him, the child will be attributed to him, and his wife will be returned to him.
Hadith 18286
١٨٢٨٦ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن حماد (أنه) (١) سئل عن المتلاعنين فقال: يتزوجها (٢) إن (أكذب) (٣) نفسه.
Hazrat Hammad (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked about a husband and wife who perform li'an. He replied that if he denies his accusation, then he can marry her.
