Hadith 17091
١٧٠٩١ - حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن معمر عن الزهري أنه قال: إذا تزوج الرجل المرأة وبالرجل عيب لم (تعلم) (١) به، جنون أو جذام أو برص خيرت.
Hazrat Zuhri says that if, after marriage, leprosy, leukoderma, or any physical defect is found in the man, the woman has the option to either stay with him or to separate from him.
Hadith 17092
١٧٠٩٢ - حدثنا غندر عن أشعث عن الحكم أنه قال في الرجل يتزوج المرأة وبه البرص قال: كان لا يراه من الرجل شيئًا وأما الجذام فإن شاءت (أقرت) (١) معه وإن (شاءت) (٢) فارقته.
Hazrat Hakam states that if, after marriage, the man is found to have the disease of leucoderma, there is no harm in it; but if leprosy appears, then the woman has the option to either stay with him or to separate from him.
Hadith 17093
١٧٠٩٣ - حدثنا محمد بن يزيد عن أبي (العلاء) (١) وهو أيوب عن قتادة في رجل تزوج امرأة وبه جنون أو داء عضال لا (تعلم) (٢) به قال: هي بالخيار إذا علمت.
Hazrat Qatadah says that if, after marriage, madness or any other illness appears in the man, the woman has the choice to either stay with that man or to separate from him. Hazrat Abu Hashim says that this woman is the wife of that man; he may keep her if he wishes, or he may divorce her if he wishes.
Hadith 17094
١٧٠٩٤ - وقال أبو هاشم: هي امرأته إن شاء أمسك وإن شاء طلق.
17094 - Abu Hashim said: She is his wife; if he wishes, he may keep her, and if he wishes, he may divorce her.
