Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibrahim says that the sick person will be taken towards the Jamarat; if he has the strength, he should perform the stoning himself, and if he does not have the strength, then the pebbles should be placed on his palm, and then someone should take the pebbles from his palm and perform the stoning on his behalf.

Ibrahim says that the sick person will be brought to all the rituals, and he will be made to perform Tawaf in a palanquin or similar conveyance. When it is time to stone the Jamarat, pebbles will be placed on his palm, and from there he will pick up the pebbles and perform the stoning.

Hazrat Ata says that the pebbles can be thrown on his behalf.
