في المحرم يغسل ثيابه
A muhrim washing his clothes
Hadith 15510
١٥٥١٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن ليث عن مجاهد وشهر قالا: لا بأس أن يغسل المحرم ثيابه ويأمر بها، (ويكرهان) (١) أن يغسلها هو.
Hazrat Mujahid and Hazrat Shahr say that there is no harm if a Muhrim washes his clothes or orders his clothes to be washed, whereas Laith and Jarir disliked washing.
Hadith 15511
١٥٥١١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن فضيل [عن (يزيد) (١) عن مجاهد عن ابن عباس قال: لا بأس أن (يغتسل المحرم، و) (٢) يغسل ثيابه (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) states that there is no harm if a person in the state of Ihram takes a bath and washes his clothes.
Hadith 15512
١٥٥١٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر] (١) قال: حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: لا بأس أن يغتسل المحرم من غير جنابة، ويغسل ثيابه.
Ibrahim says that there is no harm if a person in the state of ihram takes a bath without being in a state of major impurity and washes his clothes.
Hadith 15513
١٥٥١٣ - [حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن طلحة عن عطاء قال: لا بأس أن يغسل المحرم ثيابه] (١).
Hazrat Ata says that there is no harm if a Muhrim washes his clothes.
Hadith 15514
١٥٥١٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن منصور (عن سالم) (١) عن ابن عمر قال: إن اللَّه لا يصنع بدرنك شيئًا (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with both of them) narrates that indeed Allah Almighty has not kept any reward in being dirty.
Hadith 15515
١٥٥١٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن أبي الزبير عن جابر قال: لا بأس أن يغتسل المحرم، ويغسل ثيابه (١).
Hazrat Jabir says that there is no harm if a person in the state of Ihram takes a bath and washes his clothes.
Hadith 15516
١٥٥١٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن نمير عن عبد الملك عن عطاء (قيل) (١): أيغسل المحرم ثيابه؟ قال: نعم.
It was asked from Hazrat Ata whether a person in the state of Ihram can wash clothes? He replied: Yes.
