في الرجل يصيبه طيب الكعبة ما يصنع به
If someone’s ihram is scented by the covering of the Ka‘bah, what should he do?
Hadith 14014
١٤٠١٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن حجاج قال: سألت عطاء عن الرجل يصيبه (من طيب) (١) الكعبة، فقال: لا يضره.
It was asked from Hazrat Ata that if someone gets the fragrance of the covering of the Kaaba on himself? He replied: It will not harm him in any way.
Hadith 14015
١٤٠١٥ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا مروان بن معاوية عن صالح بن حيان قال: رأيت أنس بن مالك أصاب ثوبه من خلوق الكعبة وهو محرم. فلم يغسله (١).
Hazrat Salih bin Hayan narrates that I saw Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) in the state of Ihram, and his clothes had the fragrance of the covering of the Ka'bah on them, but he did not wash it off.
Hadith 14016
١٤٠١٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا شريك عن جابر عن أبي جعفر قال: رأيت ابن عمر خارجًا من الكعبة وقد تلطخ صدره من طيبها (١).
Hazrat Abu Ja'far narrates that I saw Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) coming out of the Ka'bah, and his chest was drenched with its fragrance.
Hadith 14017
١٤٠١٧ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية عن حجاج قال: رأيت في ثوب عمرو بن شعيب ردعًا من خلوق الكعبة، فقلت له: (ما) (١) هذا في ثوبك وأنت محرم؟ فقال: إن هذا لا يكره هاهنا، إنما (سميت بكة) (٢) لأن الناس (يتباكون) (٣) بها.
Hazrat Hajjaj says that I saw the clothes of Hazrat Amr bin Shu'aib soaked in the fragrance of the Ka'bah. I said to him: This is on your clothes even though you are in the state of Ihram? He replied: These things are not disliked or undesirable here. Indeed, its name (Makkah) was kept Bakkah because here people push each other and there is jostling, (due to which this fragrance, etc., gets on the clothes).
