Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) saw a man who was abusing his wife. He asked him, "What is the matter with you?" The man replied, "My madhi (pre-seminal fluid) or mani (semen) has been discharged." Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with both of them) said, "Do not abuse her; offer a dam (sacrifice of an animal's blood) for it."

A person from the people of Taif came wearing the Ihram for Hajj. He saw some women in a garden and kept looking at them until he emitted madhiy (pre-seminal fluid). Then he asked Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair about it. He replied, "Offer a sacrifice (dam) and your Hajj is complete."

Hazrat Hubaira Al-Dhabi says that I set out for Makkah (in the state of Ihram) with my wife. I was talking to my wife when madhiy (pre-seminal fluid) was discharged from me. I asked Hazrat Ata about this. He said: For the penalty (dam), sacrifice a goat.

Hazrat Ata says that until the meeting of the two circumcised parts occurs, Hajj does not become invalid; when the meeting of the two circumcised parts occurs, then Hajj becomes invalid and penalty becomes obligatory.
