الرجل (أو) المرأة يكون عليه أن ينحر بقرة، له أن يبيع جلدها
If a man or woman vows to sacrifice a cow, can its hide be sold?
Hadith 12848
١٢٨٤٨ - حدثنا مروان بن معاوية عن مروان بن ماهان (التيمي) (١) قال: سمعت الشعبي وسئل عن امرأة نذرت أن تنحر بقرة، ألها أن تبيع جلدها؟ فقال: نعم فقال ابن (أشوع) (٢): لكني لست (أرى) (٣) ذلك، فقال الشعبي: لو قلت: ⦗٣٤١⦘ لحمها لم يكن به بأس، إنما نذرت دمها فقد (أهرقت) (٤) دمها.
Hazrat Marwan bin Mahan al-Taimi narrates that Hazrat Sha'bi was asked: A woman has vowed to slaughter a cow; is it permissible for her to sell its hide? He replied: Yes. Hazrat Ibn Ashwa' said: But I do not consider it correct. Hazrat Sha'bi said: If you say (about selling) its meat, then there is no harm in that either, because she had vowed for the blood (to be shed), which she has already done.
