Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Ibrahim says that if the nosebleed does not stop, then tie the nose and perform the prayer.

Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib says that if a nosebleed does not stop, a person should perform the prayer by gesture.

Hazrat Ata, regarding the person whose nosebleed does not stop and he fears missing the prayer, says that he should tie his nose with a cloth and perform the prayer. Ibn Jurayj says that I asked, in this way it will go into his stomach. He replied, there is no harm.

Hasan says that he should continue to deal with the nosebleed until he fears that the prayer will be missed. If he fears this, then he should pray in that state.

Hazrat Miswar bin Makhramah narrates that Hazrat Umar offered prayer while blood was oozing from his wound.
