Speaking between the sunnah and fard of Fajr
Hadith 6552
٦٥٥٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن عيينة عن (أبي) (١) النضر عن أبي سلمة عن عائشة قالت: كان النبي ﷺ إذا صلّى ركعتي الفجر فإن كنت مستيقظة حدّثني وإلا اضطجع (٢).
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) finished the two Sunnah rak'ahs of Fajr, he would look to see if I was awake; if I was awake, he would talk to me, and if I was asleep, he would lie down.
Hadith 6553
٦٥٥٣ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا العمري عن نافع قال: ربما تكلم ابن عمر بعد ركعتي الفجر (١).
Hazrat Nafi' narrates that Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) would sometimes speak after the Sunnah prayers of Fajr.
Hadith 6554
٦٥٥٤ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن أبي حمزة عن إبراهيم قال: لا بأس أن يسلّم ويتكلّم بالحاجة بعد ركعتي الفجر.
Ibrahim says that there is no harm in speaking about necessary matters after the Sunnah prayers of Fajr.
Hadith 6555
٦٥٥٥ - حدثنا يزيد بن هارون عن إسماعيل عن الحسن وابن سيرين أنهما كانا لا يريان بأسًا بالكلام بعد ركعتي الفجر.
Hasan and Hazrat Ibn Sirin did not consider it objectionable to speak after the Sunnah of Fajr.
