Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Malik bin Dinar says that I asked Hazrat Salim about wiping the forehead with the hand before completing the prayer, so he replied that there is no harm in it.

Hazrat Hammad says that there is no harm in wiping the hand over the forehead before completing the prayer.

Hazrat Yazid bin Ibrahim says: I saw Hazrat Ibn Sirin wiping his forehead with a cloth during prayer, and Hazrat Waki’ spread his hand over his forehead.
