Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Aswad and Hazrat Alqamah would sometimes, while rising from prostration, mistakenly rise so much that their hips would be elevated (instead of sitting in Tashahhud), but then they would sit down and would not perform Sajdah Sahw.

Ibrahim narrates that Alqamah led (a two-unit) prayer. After the two units, he began to stand up, but before he was fully upright, the people said "Subhan Allah," so he sat back down. And for this mistake, he did not perform the two prostrations of forgetfulness.

Hazrat Dhahhak, regarding the person who, after two rak‘ahs in a two-rak‘ah prayer, begins to stand up, says that if he is close to sitting, he should sit down.

Hazrat Zuhri, regarding the person who makes a mistake in prayer, states that if he stands up straight, then two prostrations become obligatory upon him, and if he remembers before standing up completely, then the prostration of forgetfulness is not obligatory upon him.
