Hasan, regarding the bandage that was tied while in a state of ablution, says that it should be wiped over.

Hazrat Ata, regarding the bandage that was tied in a state of ablution, says that it will be wiped over.

Hazrat Taimi says that I asked Hazrat Tawus about a wound that a person has on his face or any other limb, and there is medicine or a bandage on it, what is the ruling for ablution in this case? He replied: If there is a fear of harm, then wipe over it, and if there is no fear of harm, then remove it.

Once, Hazrat Abu Al-Aliyah’s foot was injured. He wrapped a bandage on it and wiped over it during ablution, and said, “It is ill.”

Hazrat Imran bin Hadeer says that I got a wound of plague, so I asked Abu Majliz about it. He said, "Wipe over it."

Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair says regarding a wound that the area around it will be washed.

Hazrat Suwaid bin Ghaflah says regarding a wound that the area around it should be washed.

Hazrat Sha'bi and Hasan say that masah (wiping) will be done over the bandage.

Hazrat Salamah bin Kuhail says that I was injured here (under the eyebrows), so I tied a bandage over it. And I asked Hazrat Saeed bin Jubair about this, whether I should wipe (do masah) over it? He replied, yes.

Hazrat Amr bin Murrah narrates that once Hazrat Yusuf bin Mahak came to us as a guest. He experienced a wet dream while he was also wounded. We went to Ubaid bin Umair and asked him about this matter. He said: Wash the area around the wound and do not let water touch the wound.

Hazrat Hakam says that when a person has a wound on his hand or foot and there is a fear of harm from water touching it, he should place a bandage over it and wipe (perform masah) over it.

Ibrahim says that perform masah (wiping) over the bandage because Allah forgives the excuse.

Hazrat Mujahid says that when a person fears harm, he should perform masah (wiping) over the bandage.

Hazrat Abu Majliz says that (one may) wipe over the bandage.

Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that if a person with a bandage on a wound fears harm from water, he should wipe around it and refrain from washing it.

Hazrat Sha'bi says that he will perform masah (wiping) over the bandage.
