Hadith 5061
٥٠٦١ - حدثنا معتمر عن برد عن سليمان بن موسى قال: رأى نبي اللَّه ﷺ رجلا يصلي جالسا فقال النبي ﷺ: "لم تصلي جالسا؟ " فقال: إن عقربا لسعتني، قال: "فإذا رأى أحدكم عقربا وإن كان في الصلاة فليأخذ نعله اليسرى فليقتلها بها" (١) (٢).
Hazrat Sulaiman bin Musa says that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man who was praying while sitting. He asked him, "Why are you praying while sitting?" He replied, "A scorpion has stung me." The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "When you see a scorpion during prayer, take your left shoe and strike it."
