Hadith 4944
٤٩٤٤ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا سهل بن يوسف عن حميد عن بكر قال: (كُتب) (١) إلى عمر من نجران: لم (يجدوا) (٢) مكانا أنظف ولا أجود من بَيْعَةٍ فكتب: انضحوها بماء وسدر وصلوا فيها.
Hazrat Bakr narrates that Hazrat Umar received a letter from Najran stating that there is no place better and cleaner than the church for people to pray. Can we pray there? Hazrat Umar replied that clean the place with water and lote tree leaves, and then perform the prayer there.
