Hadith 4900
٤٩٠٠ - حدثنا وكيع قال سمعت سفيان يقول: لا يرد السلام حتى يصلي فإن كان قريبا رد عليه وإن كان بعيدا أتبعه بالسلام.
Hazrat Sufyan says that the greeting of Salam should not be answered during prayer; rather, after completing the prayer, if the person is near, then respond to his Salam, and if he is far, then greet him with Salam.
