Hadith 4890
٤٨٩٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا (١) سفيان بن عيينة عن زيد بن أسلم عن ابن عمر قال: سألت صهيبا كيف كان رسول اللَّه ﷺ يصنع حيث كان يسلم عليه قال: كان يشير بيده (٢).
Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that I asked Hazrat Suhaib, "If someone greeted the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with salam during prayer, what would he do?" He replied that the Prophet would gesture with his hand.
