Hadith 40078
٤٠٠٧٨ - حدثنا ابن علية عن (يونس عن علي) (١) قال: قال لي أبيٌّ: هلك أهل هذه العقدة -ورب الكعبة- هلكوا وأهلكوا كثيرا، أما واللَّه ما (عليهم آسى) (٢) ولكن على من يُهِلكون من أمة محمد ﵇ (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ati that he said Hazrat Abi said to me: At this place, the people of authority (meaning the rulers) will be destroyed. By the Lord of the Ka'bah, they will be destroyed, and many will be destroyed. By Allah, I do not grieve for them, but I grieve for those from the Ummah of Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) who will be destroyed.
