Hadith 39907
٣٩٩٠٧ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن شقيق عن أبي موسى قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ " (إن) (١) (من) (٢) ورائكم أياما ينزل فيها الجهل ويرفع فيها العلم، ويكثر فيها الهرج"، قالوا: يا رسول اللَّه وما الهرج؟ قال: "القتل" (٣).
Hazrat Abu Musa narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Surely, there will come such days before you in which ignorance will descend and knowledge will be taken away, and "harj" will become widespread. The noble companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), what is meant by 'harj'?" He replied, "Killing."
