Hadith 39707
٣٩٧٠٧ - حدثنا ابن عيينة عن الزهري عن عبيد اللَّه عن ابن عباس أن النبي ﷺ صام عام الفتح حتى بلغ الكديد ثم أفطر، (وإنما) (١) يؤخذ بالآخر من فعل رسول اللَّه ﷺ (٢).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) fasted in the year of the conquest of Makkah, until when he reached the place of Kudayd, then he (peace and blessings be upon him) broke his fast. Among the actions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), only the last act should be taken.
