Hadith 39698
٣٩٦٩٨ - حدثنا عبد الوهاب الثقفي عن أيوب عن ابن أبي مليكة قال: لما فتحت مكة صعد بلال البيت فأذن، فقال صفوان بن أمية للحارث بن هشام: ألا ترى إلى هذا العبد؟ فقال الحارث: إنْ يكرهْه اللهُ يغيِّره (١).
It is narrated from Ibn Abi Mulaykah that when Makkah was conquered, Bilal al-Habashi climbed to the roof of the Ka'bah and gave the call to prayer (adhan). Safwan bin Umayyah said to Harith bin Hisham, "Do you not see this slave?" Harith replied, "If Allah disliked this, He would have replaced him with someone else."
