Hadith 39686
٣٩٦٨٦ - حدثنا شبابة (بن سوار) (١) قال: (حدثنا) (٢) مالك بن أنس عن الزهري عن أنس قال: دخل رسول اللَّه ﷺ مكة عام الفتح وعلى رأسه مغفر، فلما أن دخل نزعه فقيل له: يا رسول اللَّه هذا ابن خطل متعلق بأستار الكعبة فقال: "اقتلوه" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, entered Makkah in the year of the conquest of Makkah, and there was a helmet on the blessed head of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Then when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, entered, he removed his helmet. It was said to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, "O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him! This is Ibn Khatal, clinging to the curtains of the Ka'bah!" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded: "Kill him."
