Hadith 39682
٣٩٦٨٢ - حدثنا شبابة بن سوار قال: (حدثنا) (١) ابن أبي ذئب عن عبد الرحمن ابن مهران عن (عمير) (٢) مولى ابن عباس عن أسامة بن زيد قال: دخلت مع النبي ⦗٥٠⦘ ﷺ الكعبة، فرأى في البيت صورة فأمرني فأتيته بدلو من ماء، فجعل يضرب تلك الصورة ويقول: "قاتل اللَّه قوما يصورون ما لا يخلقون" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Usama bin Zaid that I entered the House of Allah (Ka'bah) with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw pictures inside the House of Allah. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered me, and I brought a bucket of water to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began to throw water on those pictures. And he said: May Allah destroy the people who make images of things which they do not create.
