Hadith 39261
٣٩٢٦١ - حدثنا سفيان ابن عيينة عن الزهري سمع مالك بن أوس بن الحدثان يقول: سمعت عمر يقول: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "البر بالبر ربا إلا هاء وهاء، والشعير بالشعير ربا إلا هاء وهاء" (١).
Hazrat Umar narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Wheat for wheat is usury, except if it is hand to hand (i.e., on the spot). And barley for barley is usury, except if it is hand to hand (i.e., on the spot)."
