Hadith 38797
٣٨٧٩٧ - حدثنا بن الوشاء حدثنا أبو عبد اللَّه محمد بن إبراهيم بن مسلم بن زياد مولى بني هاشم حدثنا محمد بن عمرو بن بكر قال: حدثني يحيى بن الضريس حدثنا عمرو عن جابر عن زاذان عن سلمان قال: حدثني الطيب المبارك (١) رسول اللَّه ﷺ قال: "أول ما يبشر به المؤمن بروح وريحان وجنة نعيم، وإن أول ما يبشر به المؤمن يقال له: أبشر وليَ اللَّه، قدمت خير مقدم، غفر اللَّه لمن ⦗٢٠٢⦘ (شيعك) (٢) "، -قال الشيخ محمد بن إبراهيم أبو عبد اللَّه: لم يرو هذا الحديث إلا هذا الشيخ الواحد- واستجاب اللَّه لمن استغفر لك (وقبل) (٣) ممن شهد لك (٤).
It is narrated from Hazrat Salman that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: The believer will first be given glad tidings of fragrance, sweet basil, and everlasting Paradise. While giving the believer the first glad tidings, it will be said: O friend of Allah! Rejoice. You have come to the best place. May Allah forgive those who followed you. Abu Abdullah says that only one Sheikh has narrated this hadith, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Allah accepts the supplication of those who seek forgiveness for you, and Allah accepts the testimony of those who bear witness in your favor.
