Hadith 37777
٣٧٧٧٧ - حدثنا أسود بن عامر قال: حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن علي بن زيد عن سعيد بن المسيب قال: كنا عند سعد بن مالك فسكت سكتة فقال: لقد أصبت (بسكتتي) (١) هذه مثل ما سقى النيل والفرات، قال: (قلنا) (٢): وما أصبت؟ قال: سبحان اللَّه، والحمد للَّه، ولا إله إلا اللَّه، واللَّه أكبر (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyib that he says: We were with Hazrat Saad bin Malik, then he remained silent for a moment and then said: Indeed, in this silence of mine, I have attained that which the Nile and the Euphrates irrigate. The narrator says: We asked, "What have you attained?" He replied: Subhan Allah, walhamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar.
