Hadith 36125
٣٦١٢٥ - حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن أبي إسحاق عن عامر بن سعد عن جرير أنه سمع معاوية (يخطب) (١) قال: مات رسول اللَّه ﷺ وهو ابن ثلاث وستين سنة، (وأبو بكر) (٢) وعمر، وأنا ابن ثلاث وستين (٣).
Hazrat Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard Hazrat Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) delivering a sermon, saying: The blessed age of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) at the time of his passing was sixty-three years, the age of the two Shaykhs (may Allah be pleased with them both) was also sixty-three years, and I too have reached the age of sixty-three.
