Hadith 35877
٣٥٨٧٧ - حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن سماك عن عكرمة عن ابن عباس أن النبي ﷺ كان إذا أراد الرجوع (١) قال: "آئبون تائبون (عابدون) (٢) لربنا حامدون"، فإذا دخل على أهله قال: "توبا توبا لربنا أوبا، لا يغادر علينا حوبا" (٣).
It is narrated from Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to return from a journey, he would say: "We are returning, repenting, worshipping, and praising our Lord." Then, when he entered his family, he would say: "We repent, we repent, we turn to our Lord, who leaves no sin upon us."
