Hadith 35672
٣٥٦٧٢ - حدثنا معاوية بن هشام عن عمار بن (رزيق) (١) عن عطاء بن السائب عن أبي يحيى عن ابن عباس، ﴿وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُمْ مِيثَاقٌ﴾، هو الرجل يكون معاهدا أو يكون قومه أهل عهد (فيسلم) (٢) إليهم ديته ويعتق الذي أصابه رقبة (٣).
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding the verse of the Holy Qur'an { وَإِنْ کَانَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ بَیْنَکُمْ وَبَیْنَہُمْ مِیثَاقٌ} says that it refers to a person who enters into a covenant and his people are also included in the covenant; his blood money will be given to his heirs, and his slaves will be set free.
