Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Aswad bin Qais, may Allah have mercy on him, narrates from one of his sheikhs that he said: I heard Hazrat Umar bin Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, saying: If I remain alive until next year, I will certainly and surely give two thousand to the lower-ranking people among the Muhajireen.
