Hadith 35071
٣٥٠٧١ - حدثنا وكيع قال: (ثنا) (١) إسماعيل بن أبي خالد عن قيس بن أبي حازم قال: فرض عمر لأهل بدر (عريبهم) (٢) ومولاهم في خمسة آلاف خمسة آلاف، وقال: لأفضلنهم على من سواهم (٣).
Hazrat Qais bin Abi Hazim narrates that Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) fixed five thousand (dirhams) each for the Badri Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) and their slaves who were of Arab descent, and said: "I will certainly give them preference over others."
