Hadith 33665
٣٣٦٦٥ - حدثنا عبدة بن سليمان عن سعيد عن قتادة عن شريح وزيد بن ثابت في رجل مات وترك ابنه وأباه ومولاه ثم مات المولى وترك مالًا؟ فقال شريح: لأبيه السدس وما بقي فللابن.
Qatadah narrates from Hazrat Shurayh and Zayd bin Thabit regarding a man who dies and leaves behind his son, father, and mawla. Then the mawla dies and leaves wealth. Hazrat Shurayh said that one-sixth of the wealth is for the father and the rest is for the son, while Zayd bin Thabit said that the wealth is for the son and nothing is for the father.
