Hadith 33455
٣٣٤٥٥ - حدثنا علي بن مسهر عن الشيباني عن الشعبي قال: (ما راني) (١) إبراهيم بن يزيد في ابن الملاعنة فقلت: يلحق بأمه، وقال إبراهيم: يلحق بأبيه، فأتينا عبد اللَّه بن هرمز فكتب لنا إلى (أهل) (٢) المدينة إلى أهل البيت الذي كان ذلك فيهم، فجاء جواب كتابهم أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ ألحقه بأمه (٣).
Shaibani narrates that Shu’bi asked me, “What is the opinion of Ibrahim bin Yazid regarding the son of the woman who performed li’an?” I replied, “He should be affiliated with his mother,” and Ibrahim said, “He should be affiliated with his father.” So we went to Abdullah bin Hurmaz, and he wrote a letter for us to the people of Madinah with whom this incident had occurred. In response to his letter, it was reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) affiliated him with his mother.
