Hadith 33321
٣٣٣٢١ - حدثنا وكيع قال: حدثنا سفيان عن فراس عن الشعبي قال: كتب ابن عباس إلى علي يسأله عن ستة إخوة وجد، فكتب إليه (١): اجعله كأحدهم وامح كتابي (٢).
Shu'bi says that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) wrote to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) asking how inheritance should be distributed in the presence of six brothers and a grandfather. He replied that the grandfather should be considered as one of the brothers, and erase my letter.
