Hadith 33107
٣٣١٠٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن موسى بن عبيدة عن محمد بن كعب قال: إذا أراد اللَّه بعبد خيرًا فقهه في الدين، وزهده في الدنيا، وبصره عيبه فمن (أوتيهن) (١) فقد ⦗٢٤٧⦘ أوتي (خير) (٢) الدنيا والآخرة.
It is narrated from Musa bin Ubaidah that Muhammad bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) said: When Allah Almighty intends good for a servant, He grants him understanding of the religion, makes him uninterested in the world, and shows him the evils of the world. And whoever is given these things has attained the good of this world and the Hereafter.
