Hadith 33076
٣٣٠٧٦ - حدثنا معتمر عن عاصم قال: مرض أبو العالية (فأعتق مملوكًا) (١) (له) (٢) (ثم) (٣) ذكروا (له أنه من) (٤) وراء النهر فقال: إن كان حيًا فلا أعتقه، وإن كان ميتًا فهو عتيق، وذكر هذه الآية: ﴿وَلَهُ ذُرِّيَّةٌ ضُعَفَاءُ﴾ [البقرة: ٢٦٦].
Asim narrates that Hazrat Abu Al-Aaliyah fell ill, so he freed one of his slaves about whom it was said to him that he had gone across the river. He said, "If he is alive, I do not free him, and if he has died, then he is free." And then he mentioned this verse: { وَلَہُ ذُرِّیَّۃٌ ضُعَفَائُ }.
