Hadith 33074
٣٣٠٧٤ - حدثنا يحيى بن آدم قال: ثنا يزيد بن عبد العزيز عن إسماعيل عن حكيم بن جابر أنه لما حضره الموت وكان له غلام فقيل له: لو اعتقت هذا، فقال: إني لم أترك لولدي غيره قال: فأعادوا عليه لو اعتقته، فقرأ هذه الآية: ⦗٢٣٨⦘ ﴿وَلْيَخْشَ الَّذِينَ لَوْ تَرَكُوا مِنْ خَلْفِهِمْ ذُرِّيَّةً (ضِعَافًا خَافُوا عَلَيْهِمْ) (١)﴾ إلى قوله: ﴿سَدِيدًا﴾.
Ismail narrates about Hazrat Hakeem bin Jabir that when the time of his death came and he had a slave, it was said to him that it would be good if you set him free. He replied that I am not leaving any slave for my heirs except him. The narrator says that they said again that it would be good if you set him free, so upon this he recited the verse { وَلْیَخْشَ الَّذِینَ لَوْ تَرَکُوا مِنْ خَلْفِہِمْ ذُرِّیَّۃً ضِعَافًا خَافُوا عَلَیْہِمْ … سَدِیدًا }.
