Hadith 31508
٣١٥٠٨ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن أبي إسحاق عن أبي عبيدة قال: سئل عبد اللَّه: ما الدعاء الذي دعوت (به) (١) ليلة قال لك رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "سل تعطه" (قال) (٢): قلت: اللهم إني أسألك إيمانًا لا يرتد، ونعيمًا لا ينفد، ومرافقة نبيك محمد ﷺ في أعلى درجة الجنة جنة الخلد (٣).
Hazrat Abu Ubaidah narrates that Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked: What is that supplication which you made on the night when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to you: "Ask, you will be granted"? He replied: I recited this supplication: O Allah! I ask You for such faith after which there is no disbelief, and for such a blessing which never ends, and for the companionship of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the highest rank of Paradise forever.
