ما جاء عن عبد الله بن مسعود ﵁Supplications Narrated from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud
Hadith 31502
٣١٥٠٢ - حدثنا وكيع عن المسعودي عن عون بن عبد اللَّه عن أبي فاختة عن الأسود بن يزيد قال: قال عبد اللَّه يقول اللَّه: من كان له عندي عهد فليقم، قالوا: يا (أ) (١) با عبد الرحمن فعلمنا، قال: قولوا: اللهم فاطر السماوات والأرض، عالم الغيب والشهادة (٢) إني أعهد إليك عهدًا في هذه الحياة الدنيا، إنك إلى تكلني إلى (عملي) (٣) يقربني من الشر ويباعدني من الخير وإني لا أثق إلا برحمتك، (فاجعله) (٤) (لي) (٥) عندك عهدًا تؤديه إليَّ يوم القيامة، إنك لا تخلف الميعاد (٦).
Hazrat Aswad bin Yazid narrates that Hazrat Abdullah said that Allah says: Whoever has any covenant with Me, let him stand. His students submitted: O Abu Abdur Rahman, then please teach us this as well. He said: All of you recite these words: O Allah! Creator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the seen and the unseen, surely I make a covenant with You in this worldly life. Surely, if You entrust me to my deeds, You bring me near to evil and distance me from good. And surely, I have no trust except in Your mercy, so keep my covenant with You, which is to be fulfilled on the Day of Resurrection. Surely, You do not break Your promise.
