ما قالوا: في الرجل إذا أخذ مضجعه (و) أوى إلى فراشه، ما يدعو به؟Those Who Say: What Supplication Should Be Made When Going to Bed?
Hadith 31268
٣١٢٦٨ - حدثنا عبيدة بن حميد عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن ربعي بن حراش عن حذيفة قال: كان النبي ﷺ إذا أخذ مضجعه قال: "اللهم باسمك أموت و (أحيي) (١) وإذا قام قال: الحمد للَّه الذي أحيانا بعد ما أماتنا وإليه النشور" (٢).
Hazrat Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would lie down on his bed, he would recite this supplication: O Allah! In Your name I die and I live. And when he would wake up from sleep, he would recite this supplication: All praise is for Allah who gave us life after causing us to die, and to Him is the resurrection.
