Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that one night I did not find the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the bed, so I started searching for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Then my hand touched the lower part of the feet of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the state that he was in the mosque and both his feet were standing, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was supplicating: "Indeed, I seek refuge with You from being punished instead of being forgiven by You, and I seek refuge with You from Your anger. I am not capable of praising You as You have praised Yourself."
