Hazrat Abdullah narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to supplicate: O Allah! I seek refuge in You from Satan, from his madness, from his blowing into poetry, and from his arrogance. Hazrat Ata or Ibn Mas’ud states that "hamzah" means madness, "nafthah" means poetry, and "nafkha" means arrogance.
