ما يقول الرجل إذا لبس الثوب الجديدWhat to Say When Wearing New Clothes
Hadith 26720
٢٦٧٢٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد اللَّه بن إدريس عن أبي الأشهب عن رجل من (مزينة) (١) أن رسول اللَّه ﷺ رأى على عمر ثوبا غسيلًا فقال: "أجديد ثوبك هذا؟ " قال: غسيل يا رسول اللَّه قال: فقال له رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "الْبس جديدًا، وعش حميدًا، وتوف شهيدًا، يعطك اللَّه قرة عين في الدنيا والآخرة" (٢).
A man from the tribe of Muzainah narrates that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw a washed garment on Umar. So the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, asked, "Is this garment of yours new?" Umar replied, "O Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him! It is washed." The narrator says that upon this, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Umar: "Wear new clothes, live a praiseworthy life, and die the death of a martyr. May Allah grant you the coolness of the eye in this world and the Hereafter."
